In Hamburg, all dogs are required to be kept on a leash in public – unless you've officially obtained an off-leash permit. As a certified assessor, I'm authorised by the City of Hamburg to conduct exactly this test with you and your dog.

The assessment covers ao basic obedience and compatibility with other dogs – and yes, you as the handler are part of the test too. The permit is always issued to the team, not the dog alone.

Before you can get started, there are a few requirements to meet – among them, your dog must be at least 12 months old. I'm happy to send you a full checklist on request.
